Progress

This is the massing that I come up with after all the modifications. I tried to keep in mind all the comments about the site and how the building relates to it.  I still miss the glass on the facade, this is just the shape of the building that will change while adding the glass into it. 

The program will stay the same as I described it in the previous slides. 

Floor plans depend on the shape of the slab that depends on the final massing shape, that is the reason why I don't have them posted yet. 

In my opinion the massing looks connected with the ribbon (finally) but now is a bit to heavy, I believe that would change after the transparency of the glass will come up into the picture.

If you folks, Elena and Rafael,  have some suggestions how to modify the shape of this massing I would appreciate it.

Main Dance Hall on the 4th floor in the public area of the building. View from Outside.

Ground floor area between 2 sides of the building (public and private) represents the outdoor citing. Left side entrance for the public-performance area with a cafe on the ground level.Right side entrance for the private area-dance school. Upper Level is a restaurant with a path that connects both sides.

View from a different angle to show how the building functions and gets connected. Right side has 2 floors for the dance school, dance classes. 

Green Stairs represent the architectural stairs that bring people to different levels in both sides of the building. As well customers from restaurant can exit from both fire rated stairs.

The triangular shapes represent the skin of the building. Still in progress, I'm thinking how to cover it without loosing the accent on the red ribbon. Light blue represents the glass to keep some transparency of the building in certain areas. Dark gray solid walls/triangular shape.

Dark blue area is bellow the ground that again connects the building. This space would be used for changing area and some more studios for the dance classes. 

Dark yellow boxes - fire rated staircase and elevator. Bigger box on the right side represents the scissor stairs. 

I am thinking to make them transparent with a fireproof glass.
